BABYSITTING EXPERIENCE
Babysitting – Family Role 2017-2022
- Responsible for the wellbeing of my younger sister as a
babysitter from the ages of 6-12
Preparing healthy meals for her and offering engaging and creative
activities such as painting, baking and outdoor adventure.
- Walking her to school encouraging a consistent and healthy
routine
- Following bedtime and morning routines, ensuring as little
screen time as possible, carrying out evening gratitude tasks and prayer
- Navigating big feelings throughout the school years through
excellent listening and confidence-based reassurance
- Adapting babysitting techniques for my younger brother who is
autistic and ADHD, considering different ways of thinking and
perceptions of time, wording requests in a way that is sensitive to
rejection sensitive and demand avoidance

adapting to secondary school life, offering guidance, putting them in
touch with the pastoral team if needed
- Offering board games, puzzles and arts and crafts to brighten

report to welfare teams within school
Dean City Farm Volunteer 2015-2016
- Assisting in the hosting of children’s parties
- Walking groups of children around the farm and directing them
to the party hall
- Educating the attendees about the animals, how to treat them
and answering any questions, actively engaging in positive and
education forward conversations with the children
My Qualifications
I don’t have any official childcare qualifications but substantial experience and a caring nature and ambitions to be a teacher provide me with excellent skills needed to take care of your little ones. I am also DBS checked and in the process of getting paediatric first aid certification
