About Me
I’m an 18-year-old who recently completed A-Levels in Biology, Maths, and Psychology. Currently, I’m taking a gap year to travel, work, and gain experience before starting university in September. I plan to study Psychology and Neuroscience, with the ultimate goal of becoming a clinical psychologist specialising in supporting children. I love working with children and am happy to help in any way I can, whether that be helping with the morning school run or holiday periods be that at home or abroad.
My Experience
I work part-time at Cambridge Kids Club, supporting children aged 4-11. As part of this job, I have undertaken a considerable amount of training, with courses on Behaviour, Food and hygiene, and First-aid. I have experience working with SEN children and I also babysit and tutor locally for children of all ages.

DBS checked, First Aid trained, Food and Hygiene, Basic child protection, Understanding behaviours
My Availability
Unfortunately, my availability can vary at times depending on my travel schedule. However, I currently have no plans to travel for more than two weeks at a time and can be very flexible.

18 always seems so young, but Poppy is so grown up, mature, intelligent, very easy to communicate with. Her knowledge and interest in children and mental health shines through and my 8 yr old son and myself would be lost without her. Really puts my son’s needs first and such a great listener too. Son is never happy with anyone else! Her ability to entertain and help my son with school work and sports, when I’m tired and old single mum provides my son with so much enrichment

Poppy looked after my two girls in the evenings when we were out. She was always punctual. She sometimes made dinner for the kids. Otherwise she played games with them and sent them to bed at agreed bedtime. My girls absolutely adore her. She is a reliable, very sensible and lovely babysitter.
