About Me
Myself and my husband Oliver are looking for a nanny to join our family unit. We have 2 children; Harrison (4) and Olivia (2) are both bubbly happy children with their own interests and activities. Harry attends preschool 5 days per week in the local area and goes full time (9-3), just down the road from us and Olivia goes to the same one but only 3 days per week 9-12 as she comes home for her nap. Olivia swims on a Wednesday and Harry swims on a Friday, we would be looking for our nanny to support in taking the children to their sessions. This involves getting in the pool with Olivia and watching from the poolside for Harry. I’d love to be able to enrol Olivia in a gymnastics or dance class and would be looking for our nanny to be able to support with logistics. Harrison loves cars and riding his bike, which he has mastered with no stabilizers and is also very happy to play independently with a puzzle or his hot wheels track. He really enjoys turning the living room in to a cinema. Olivia is play doh mad and likes to role play with the play kitchen, she recently got two electronic puppies for Christmas which she likes to take for walks and cuddle and feed. They both enjoy getting involved in baking and being outdoors.
My Requirements
We are looking for a fun and enthusiastic nanny who enjoys doing tasks on a 121 basis with both children. We’d like a self starter who is able to fill any down time (during the time the children are at preschool or sleeping) with household chores, (cleaning, ironing, laundry), home baking and meal and activity preparations. I’d like a nanny who is able to handle big feelings where necessary and has a caring approach to parenting. Ideally our nanny will take them out in all weathers and enjoy the local countryside. We’d like a nanny who can use their imagination on the same level as the children and make an outdoor walk in to good fun. We would like our nanny to primarily focus all their efforts on the children in preschool logistics, arts & crafts/ activities and meal prep, however there are a number of opportunities in the week where the children aren’t around where we would ask for additional errands to be run, cleaning and additional prep. Our nanny is required to be Ofsted registered and have flexibility to be able to work the occasional Friday as myself and Oliver need to travel for work sometimes.
