About Me
Hi parents. Welcome to TinySteps, an Ofsted-registered childcare provider with over 10 years of experience working with children in health & social care. I provide flexible childcare Monday to Friday, offering engaging activities that support learning and development. From visiting playgroups, libraries, parks, and soft play areas to organising exciting day trips to museums and farms. My primary goal is to create opportunities for children to learn through play and exploration.
I offer a variety of childcare options, including school pick-ups and drop-offs, half days, holiday clubs, after-school care, and full-day sessions, tailored to parents’ schedules. New placements are currently available.
The large childminding space features a dedicated play area for reading, art, fun learning and indoor activities, while the garden provides space for outdoor sports and physical fun.
I follow the EYFS framework and national curriculum to plan activities that help children reach their full potential. I focus on key areas such as speech and language, physical coordination, and emotional development, incorporating fun activities like rhyme time, story sessions, and interactive games to nurture these skills.
My Experience
I have two children of my own, as well as many nieces and nephews, which has provided me with a wealth of experiences in caring for children at various ages and developmental stages. Over the years, I've gained valuable insight into the different needs and routines of children, allowing me to provide tailored care and support for each child i look after.
