About Me
Hello! Myself and my partner Tom (both 29) live in Hillsborough and have a wonderful 5 month old girl called Margaux. She’s a very happy baby who loves to play and explore and is excellent with new people (she’s also a great napper!). She’s formula fed straight from the fridge and has started weening recently…not that she’s enjoying the vegetables much ?
I am an ambulatory wheelchair/walking stick user with several disabilities, so caring for her full time while my partner is at work has been at times challenging, and as I am due to go back to work at the start of feb (fully working from home) I am aware that stretching myself too thin could have a severe impact on my health. We’re aiming to find somebody kind and caring who can help us lighten the load a little and ensure Margaux gets all the attention and learning she needs while Mummy is working ?
My Requirements
We’re looking for a friendly, qualified and enthusiastic person who would be able to care for our daughter either full or part time and do some engaging activities with her while she grows - I am about to go back to work with a 100% remote position (Mon-Fri 9-5) and my partner works at home on Mondays & Tuesdays 8.30-4.30. Being at home means I’ll be on hand if you need anything ?? At the moment we are thinking about Weds, Thurs & Fridays either afternoons only or full days with potential for full time (if we find working is too difficult even with both of us home to share the load.) As we don’t have family that lives close by we’d also be looking for somebody who can offer ad-hoc Babysitting, but it’s definitely not a deal breaker if you don’t offer this!
Ideally we would love somebody to come to our home (we have lots of toys and activities for her, as well as being next door to Hillsborough Park) but if local and in walking distance I’d potentially be able to travel to you if you’re a childminder/nursery (as we don’t drive) ?? If you’re open to light household tasks/chores it would be a huge bonus as we struggle with these between my health and caring for Margaux (but again, not a deal breaker)
