I moved to the UK at 15 and spent four years in Edinburgh for university. I currently work for a MarTech company as a Marketing Manager.
My Experience
I worked as Teaching Assistant for 2 months in 2019 during my summer break. I worked with playgroup, pre-nursery and nursery classes. I initially was contracted to work for a month but was asked to come back and work at the school's second location for another month. My main responsibilities included:
1. Interacted with young children in a play-based
environment
2. Responsible for children’s well-being and care
3. Organised appropriate and creative activities
relevant to the school's curriculum
4. Tailored lesson plans in accordance with
students' different abilities
