About Me
I'm currently looking for babysitter/nanny job in Chelmsford. I recently moved to the UK (I have full working rights here) to live with my husband. I'm from Germany and speak German and English fluently. I have a degree in English literature and working experience in publishing jobs as well as childcare jobs. In the future I would like to work in publishing but for now I want to settle in and find a part-time job as a nanny since I loved working with children before and it will be a good opportunity for me to settle in.
My Experience
I have worked as an Au-Pair in London for one year (2018-2019) and took care of three children (ages 1, 4 and 6). I helped getting the kids ready in the morning, made breakfast and sent them off to school/nursery. During the day I was either alone to do household chores or the 1 year old was with me and we played a lot, went to playgrounds or a musical class for toddlers. After picking the bigger kidsup from school, I prepared dinner and played with them. In the evenings I did more house chores and helped with bed time routine.
I also did babysitting for various children (ages 5 to 8). I did a lot of evening babysitting so mainly making dinner, playing games, reading books and getting the kids ready for bed (brushing teeth, etc.)
My Qualifications
I have no professional childcare qualification but a lot of experience. I'm very good with children and love working with them.
My Availability
I would like to work part-time and I'm flexible with my availability.
