Hi! I'm Georgie, a recent psychology graduate, with an intricate understanding of neurodivergence and special educational needs. I'm 22 and originally from South Africa, but have been living in the UK for 7 years. I'm a laid back person, who keeps calm under pressure! I stay busy with lots of sport, baking, cooking, spending time with friends and also with my pets. I adore animals and will be more than happy to take on jobs with pets involved... even more so!
My Experience
I am currently working as an SEN teaching assistant in a specialist school. Unfortunately, I am no longer able to work full time, which is why I am leaving the school and searching for babysitter or nanny roles.
In my current role, I have had experience supporting children with ASC, ADHD, down syndrome, cerebral palsy and PMLD. I've had the privilege of learning some Makaton sign language, so am confident using basic Makaton signs to communicate. Seeing these children take small steps every day has been such a blessing, and I am grateful to have built relationships with them all.
I have mostly worked with adolescents, but have also supported children as young as 6. Whilst I do have more experience working with SEN children, I am more than comfortable caring for a range of children. Especially being the eldest of 3 siblings, I am no stranger to looking after those younger than me.
My Qualifications
BSc Psychology, trauma-informed training, personal care, Makaton sign language, safeguarding children certification.

My Availability
I am available most hours, so message me if you have any questions. I would prefer not to work overnight but am open if necessary. I'm looking for a commitment that's no more than 28 hours per week. I do have my own car and am willing to travel for a job (I am based in Swavesey).

My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
I charge minimum £13, and £15 for any weekend days or weekday hours that fall before 8am or after 6pm.
