About Me
Hi there! I'm Jilly. I am caring, patient, and empathetic, and I understand when looking after children from birth to teens. I have vast knowledge of child attachments and how to build positive child/adult relationships. I am a big believer in creating safe spaces for children, I often take the “big sister” approach to my jobs so the children feel right at home with me.
I grew up in New Zealand but can live and work here on an Irish passport I also have. At 26, I’ve got plenty of experience, having grown up as the oldest of four. I’ve cared for babies, toddlers, and pre-teens. During university, I juggled studying with nannying, and recently, I worked in Las Vegas with Live Nation, looking after the crew during Adele’s shows. I’m all about making a positive difference and helping kids grow.
Recently I’ve been working full time for a family in London and they are reducing my hours, so I am looking for another part-time or full-time position! If you’re seeking someone to bring joy and dependability to your family, I’d love to talk!
My Experience
I have 10 plus years of experience working with children and families as a Nanny and
I have vast experience with babies, toddlers, and teens. I'm also qualified and have an up-to-date DBS.
As the eldest of four younger siblings, aged 9 to 19, I have been actively involved in their
care throughout my adolescence and adulthood, starting when I was 14. I’ve gained
extensive experience with infants, toddlers, and pre-teens, both through nannying and
babysitting. I am particularly skilled at after-school care and daytime nannying, and I have
a genuine passion for working with children, always eager to connect with the new ones I
meet.
My Qualifications
University Degree in Pregnancy and Fertility, I studied in NZ.
My Availability
I am available for full time nanny work 30-50hrs per week and adhoc babysitting.
