About Me
We are a family of 3 based in Brentwood, and have a beautiful little boy who has ASD and is pre-verbal. Whilst he isn't able to speak, he is cheeky, bright and full of fun and constantly surprises us with how smart he is.
Both my husband and I work in corporate jobs for companies headquartered in California, which means we usually have calls/meetings around 4pm, making after school care challenging.
The right nanny for us will have experience with autistic children and will be neuro-affirming and patient. A bonus if the nanny also has experience with AAC devices, however this isn't essential.
My Requirements
Looking for an after school nanny starting in September 2025 for an energetic, 4 year old boy with additional needs. He is autistic and pre-verbal and requires support with feeding himself and personal care/toileting.
The right nanny for us will have experience with autistic children and will be neuro-affirming and patient. A bonus if the nanny also has experience with AAC devices, however this isn't essential.
He will be going to a local mainstream school in a specialised SEN class and will require care at home from around 3:30 until 5:30/6pm 4 days per week. On Thursdays we will require the nanny to collect him from school, (finishing at 3:10pm) on other days we will collect him and his nanny care will begin at home. We require our nanny to be able to drive (we can provide a car seat) as the school is too far away to walk.
