About Me
I am currently receiving my Masters of Social Work at the University of Edinburgh and also have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, specialising in children. I am from the United States and plan to live and work here in Scotland after I finish my Masters!
My Experience
I have plenty of experience working with children. I have provided solo babysitting over the years for weekends and evenings, as well as assistance with children and household tasks while the parents are in the home. I have experience with newborns and babies, having nannied for two children back in the states starting at around one month old.
I have also worked in a children's therapist/psychologist's office back in California, and thus have experience working with children with any additional needs or traumas.
My Qualifications
I am first aid certified and have a BA in Psychology, specialising in children, and am currently pursuing a Masters in Social Work with a specialisation in child sexual abuse.
My Availability
I am currently finishing up my studies and do not start work until November of this year, so I can work around your schedule. I frequently travel to Berlin for short stays as my partner lives there. I would be very happy to chat with you and figure out a system that works best for you if you would like more consistent support or just the occasional night off!
