My Experience
I have over four years of experience working with children of all ages through my Child and Adult Nursing degree. During this time, I have gained extensive hands-on experience in hospital wards, providing care and support to children in a variety of healthcare settings. This has given me a deep understanding of child development, safety, and emotional well-being.
I have experience working with neurodivergent children, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as children with mental health conditions such as anxiety and depression. Additionally, I have cared for children with physical disabilities, including those with cerebral palsy and genetic disorders. I am trained in using hoist slings and other moving and handling equipment, ensuring that children with additional needs receive safe and compassionate care
In addition to my nursing experience, I have previously babysat for families with older children, including a 6-year-old and a 10-year-old. I helped with taking them to school, homework, meal preparation, bedtime routines, and engaging activities to keep them entertained and cared for. My experience in both healthcare and babysitting ensures that I can provide a safe, nurturing, and responsible environment for children of all ages.
