About Me
I am a mom Ive been a teacher for nearly 20 years and recently decided to explore childminding. This is an exciting yet familiar avenue that I am eager to start from September 2025. I will offer funded places.
My Experience
I would like to take a moment of your time to tell you more about myself. I am an inspiring, self- motivated and dynamic schoolteacher with altogether 18 years’ experience of teaching in the primary years. I have always had a passion for primary teaching and geared my studies and career in this direction. I feel that it is extremely valuable to help children develop skills they can continue to use throughout their lives.
This is what inspired me to complete my Bachelor of Education in early childhood development. I love to bring the EYFS to life! I have an ever-growing passion to help children with learning disabilities and that was also the inspiration behind completing my Honours Bachelor of Education in inclusive education. I believe in lifelong learning and gained my QTS in 2018. I have excellent behaviour management skills and a proven track record as an experienced primary teacher.
I think it is of utmost importance to enjoy your job and believe this is a mind- set and a conscious choice.
I hope you will take this into account as I am now starting my own childminding journey! After becoming a mother myself, and deciding to grow our family, childminding has become the natural next step for me in my career and I am excited to be able to offer a safe and secure learning and exploring environment, a literal 'home away from home', to other littles. I understand the pressures on families currently and I am confident that I can give a working parent the peace of mind and heart to know that while they are making ends meet, their most precious possession is in very capable and safe hands.
