My Qualifications

I have a strong educational background in health and social care and psychology, complemented by extensive practical experience in therapeutic care, education, and project management. My BTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care qualification provided me with a deep understanding of child welfare, safeguarding, and person-centred care, while my ongoing BSc (Hons) Psychology studies are equipping me with further insight into child behaviour, cognitive development, and emotional well-being.

In addition, I hold qualifications in nutrition and health, which have given me a solid foundation in meal planning, balanced diets, and understanding dietary needs, including allergies and intolerances.

Beyond formal education, I have gained intensive training in emotional well-being, life skills, and de-escalation techniques through my work in therapeutic care. Supporting children from complex backgrounds has strengthened my ability to create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment, manage challenging behaviour effectively, and provide tailored support to children of all backgrounds and abilities.

My varied professional experience has provided me with a wide range of transferable skills. From working in digital forensics and legal administration, where I developed strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills, to my role as a project manager, where I gained experience in time management, communication, and organisation. My current role as a cover teacher has further enhanced my ability to adapt to different environments, manage classrooms effectively, and engage meaningfully with children of all ages.

These combined qualifications, specialised training, and diverse professional experiences allow me to offer a professional, compassionate, and knowledgeable approach to childcare. I ensure that each child’s individual needs are met with patience, understanding, and expertise.

My Availability

I am very flexible depending on your needs but kindly ask for a week's notice due to my role as a cover teacher. I am available for evening and weekend babysitting, as well as daytime care, depending on my schedule.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
