Hello, my name is Eva! I am a Biology student based in the west end of Glasgow. I am a very caring and maternal individual who loves communicating with young people. I embrace the fact that every child is unique and I am able to adapt my communication style to them; I have experience working with children with ASD who may communicate in different ways. I am patient and will prioritise your child's needs. I can cook a variety of meals and snacks and I love crafting and educational/inspiring activities such as board games, dressing up and role play. I look forward to meeting you and your little family! I am also happy to be around and help look after any pets you may have.
My Experience
Most of my experience with children has been helping family and friends with child care, however, I worked around children in my previous job at an independent Cafe and I also worked in a college canteen where I worked with teenagers. In 2022 I was a childminder for a young boy with ASD (non-verbal) so I have experience with children who may communicate in different ways. I was a St John Ambulance first aid volunteer for 6 years so your child is in safe hands!
My Qualifications
Through St John I achieved my first aid qualifications, safeguarding L1 and medicine management L2. From other jobs I achieve food health and safety qualifications and I also have a DBS from St John and working in a college. Academically speaking, I have 9 GCSEs, 3 A-Levels (BBB) and I am currently working towards an undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. I am hoping to complete more relevant online courses in the near future e.g. Level 2 Certificate Introducing Caring for Children and Young People
My Availability
I am available Tuesday to Friday evenings after my classes finish (usually 4pm) and weekends from 10 am until late.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
I will charge £12 per hour (the current national living wage) but a minimum payment of two hours work per session. I will not charge for meeting you and your children prior to employment as it is important we get to know each other first.
