My Summary

My Experience

I am a Medical Sciences Graduate with experience tutoring GCSE and A-level biology and English Literature. I am now studying Medicine so have a good grasp of anatomy and physiology which supports physical education examinations as well as biology, chemistry and english.

My proudest achievements include supporting a student from progressing to a 9 in English Literature over a 3-month period of 2 tutorials a week. For context when they came to me they were struggling to achieve a 4. I also remained available to mark extra pieces of work that my tutees provided to further their revision. My other students have progressed at least two grades under my tutelage, and I am very proud of the work that they all put into their studies. I stopped tutoring for a brief period of time to focus on my degree and cricket at University, but have since been helping my sister and some of her friends with their year 8 examinations. I also continue to help with revision sessions that the medical school deliver to first years, my latest one being a teach on the immune system.

My Qualifications

I am a Medical Sciences graduate, recieving a 2:1 from the University of Exeter. I was awarded A* A A C For an extended project, biology, history and physics in my A-levels My GCSE's, I recieved 9's in English Literature and Language, 7 in maths, A*'s in Biology and Physics, A in chemistry, A in History and Physical Education and a B in music. I was awarded a commendation for achieveing full marks in my english literature papers at GCSE.

My Availability

I am available from 8am-10am on a monday and then 8-9 every morning for the rest of the week. I can do any evenings from 6pm-9pm and endeavour to keep saturday's free for whenever suits the tutee best.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £20.00 per hour
• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour

I charge £20.00 a session but the first session would be £10.00. This is so you could ascertain if I am a good fit, but still in essence I still recieve some revenue for the time.
