Hi there!
We’re looking for an extra pair of hands to help with our 5-year-old, Ari.
Ari is a wonderful kid and is in his first year of school which he absolutely loves. Myself and his Mum work full time and don’t have much family help locally, so we’d be looking for 12 hours a week after school in term time, with full days in the school holidays and weekend hours on a more ad hoc basis.
My Requirements
Ari was diagnosed with autism whilst still at nursery. Whilst this has presented challenges in terms of early years development, we’ve embraced the diagnosis and made all the necessary steps to ensure he’s thriving. This has meant he’s come on leaps and bounds in the last 6 months – most significantly with his speech, and he’s also toilet trained and builds very strong relationships with adults.
We live in Worsley and he attends St Mark’s School which is a short drive or walk. He’s an active kid and whilst he loves coming home at the end of the day, he’s happiest when he’s out doing things. His favourite activities include swimming (we're members at David Lloyd so can get guest passes!), trampolining, aquariums, fun fairs and soft play, and visiting anywhere he can generally run around and explore (parks in the summer or Trafford Centre in the winter!).
