About Me
1 to 1 face to face or online primary tutoring services for reading, writing, maths and mentoring. Tutoring can be offered for all students 4 to 11 years and can be subject specific or focus on key skills needed. I can also offer mentoring that can help build confidence, self-esteem or prepare students for transitions between year groups or to secondary school. I am also able to prepare pupils for end of key stage 2 assessments. Each tuition package is tailored to the needs of each student and I can cater for pupils without a school place, needing alternate provision or with SEN needs.
My Experience
I am an experienced primary school teacher with 13 years service in the classroom, as a teacher and a leader. I graduated from university in 2012, after studying for four years, with a BEd Hons Primary Education degree and qualified teacher status. Since then, I have continued to enhance my teaching expertise as an accredited maths specialist teacher for the National Centre of Teaching Excellence in Maths.
During the time spent in the primary school sector, I have worked with pupils from EYFS to Year 6, successfully preparing pupils for the end of Key Stage 2 assessments and transition to secondary school.
Currently, I provide education to students who require alternate provision due to SEND or SEMH needs.

£25 per hour base rate and 40p for travel expenses that exceed 5 miles of NN11.
