Hello, my name is Caitlyn i am 20 years old and I have been working with children for over 4 years, I am currently a classroom assistant in a primary school. I am responsible and hardworking woman. I enjoy going out with friends and socializing. I like to explore and be in new surroundings a lot as I like to see new places. I like making new friends and being in a good and social environment. I was a loyal member of the GB from the ages 3 - 15. Through my experience of it I feel I’ve learnt many life skills that can help me. Including some traits such as I had to become friends with many new faces. The GB overall made me more confident in myself as a person which I am very thankful for.
My Experience
I am currently working in a primary school as a classroom assistant. My responsibilities within the school entail working 1 to 1 with a child,
taking groups out to read, help them with work and allow them to work with me as a way to help provide a comfortable and nurturing environment for all the children I am with. Last term I worked within a preschool, i would provide nutritious snacks/meals for the children on a daily basis, support them in their learning of fine and gross motor skills and help create a warm and safe environment for them to learn.

> NCFE CACHE Level 2 Diploma for children’s care, learning and development.
> NCFE CACHE Level 3 Diploma for children’s care, learning and development.
> First Aid
> Paediatric First Aid
> Food hygiene and safety
> Training on selective mutism
> Training in the Reading Partnership programme.
My Availability
As I am currently a classroom assistant I would only be available after 2pm Monday to Friday and am available some weekends.
