My name is Rianna, and I’m a full-time teacher based in the Peckham Rye area with a real passion for working with children of all ages and backgrounds. Thanks to my teaching experience, I’ve developed a calm, patient nature and a big bag of creative tricks to help little ones learn and grow in fun, engaging ways!
I absolutely love cooking and baking (yes, I make a mean banana bread!) and I believe wholeheartedly in the magic of learning through play, discovery and hands-on experiences. Whether it’s messy play, story time adventures, arts and crafts or outdoor exploring, I always aim to create joyful, enriching moments that children can cherish.
I have experience supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and I take pride in creating a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued and encouraged to shine in their own unique way.

My Experience
I’ve been a full-time primary school teacher for the past 9 years and absolutely love what I do! I hold Qualified Teacher Status and currently work as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, so creating safe, supportive environments for children is second nature to me.
Alongside teaching, I currently lead Maths, Science and KS2 Reading in school and I’m trained in both Read Write Inc. and Little Wandle phonics – so I’m all about making learning fun, engaging and tailored to each child!
I’ve also tutored children aged 5 -11 and babysat for little ones from newborn up to 14 years old, so I’m confident working with a wide range of ages and needs. My enhanced DBS is up to date and available on request.
My Qualifications
I hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have been teaching full-time for 9 years. I’m also a trained Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at my current school - which means I’m well-versed in keeping children safe and supported at all times.
I’ve completed training in both Read Write Inc. and Little Wandle phonics programmes, and have led Maths, Science and KS2 Reading, so I bring a strong academic background as well as a passion for helping children succeed through fun, engaging learning experiences.
My enhanced DBS check is up to date and can be shared upon request.
My Availability
