About Me
Hello, I’m Laura and I’m a registered nurse with over 10 years experience working in healthcare. I am here to offer babysitting services to families with children as young as 1 year old. I am currently working 3 days week of my choosing which means I can be flexible with providing childcare.
With a background in nursing I am trained in basic and immediate life support for both adults and paediatrics. I am comfortable offering support to a wide range of disabilities and varying levels of communication. I am also experienced in handling emergencies, with advanced knowledge in chronic health conditions such as diabetes and anaphylaxis.
When caring for children I am dedicated to enriching young minds and limiting screen time. Instead I try to encourage activities such as playing outdoors and going for walks, baking, drawing and reading. One of my strengths is my gentle demeanor and patience. I take pride in creating a nurturing environment and building positive relationships where children feel safe to thrive and their development is encouraged.
Whether it’s occasional babysitting or regular weekly care, I aim to build safe and supportive relationships to help parents take a well deserved break whilst reassuring them their children are in the safest hands possible.

My Availability
I currently work 3 days a week as a nurse. However I do chose the days I work so I am able to juggle my shifts around babysitting as needed. I am not currently available for overnight sitting.
