Friendly British-Italian family based in Ealing, looking for a kind, reliable nanny to help care for our two boys - one of whom has special needs (ASD). We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves caring for others, is organised, and can become a steady, positive presence in our home. This is a long-term role with opportunities for extra hours during holidays and when we travel for work. Job Details:
• Days & Hours Required: Monday - Friday 14:30 - 18:30 | 20 Hours [term time]; additional
hours needed during school holidays; overnight stay may be required when one parent
travels for work
• Start Date: End of June / first week of July
• Location: Ealing, W5
• Ages of Children: B4 and B8
Overview:
Afternoon nanny who can increase hours during school holidays, when the parents travel for work and during overnight stays. An innate passion for working with children is essential - alongside a nurturing, loving and patient approach. This is a long-term role for someone who wants to truly become part of the family.
Duties:
Create a supportive and engaging environment for the two boys. Core responsibilities include:
• School pickups
• Support with meal prep and snacks for the children
• Support learning/ homework
• Organising fun, age-appropriate activities particularly during school holidays
• Encouraging positive behaviour and independence
• Light housekeeping related to the children such as laundry, organizing toys, keeping their room tidy.
The ideal candidate is proactive, reliable, warm, and takes pride in maintaining a tidy and organised environment for the children and parents. Someone who naturally takes initiative and notices what needs to be done will thrive in this role.
The position may occasionally involve overnight stays.
Skills and other requirements:
• Two-three years of childcare experience
• A confident cook who can follow simple family-friendly recipes
• A self-starter with good organisational instincts
• Ability to support school routines and homework
• Fluent in Italian and English would be preferable
• Driving license preferable
• Honest and kind-hearted
