My Experience

I’ve worked with children professionally for over 10 years across a wide range of settings—so there’s not much I haven’t seen (or cleaned up!).

My journey started in nurseries, where I cared for babies and toddlers as a key worker. I later became a Deputy Nursery Manager and Safeguarding Lead, which deepened my knowledge of child development, safety, and supporting children with additional or complex needs.

I’ve also worked in primary schools and after-school clubs, and spent two years as a Paediatric Nurse Associate—supporting children and young people through physical health challenges, mental health needs, and sometimes very tough starts in life.

On top of that, I help run a local church playgroup and support my in-laws in their role as foster carers, so I have hands-on experience with children from a variety of backgrounds and with all sorts of individual needs.

All of this means I can connect with children of all ages and personalities, provide safe and nurturing care, and step in confidently if anything unexpected comes up. And most importantly—I’ll make sure they’re having fun and feeling great while you're away!

I also have training and experience supporting children with additional needs (including autism, ADHD, and physical disabilities), and I regularly keep up to date with childcare and safeguarding best practices through CPD and hands-on learning.

My Availability

I’m super flexible with my time and available most days, evenings, and weekends—just not Fridays during the day. Whether you need a regular sitter, the occasional date night cover, or some last-minute help, I’ll always do my best to fit you in!

Once we’ve built a relationship and you're comfortable, I’m also happy to offer babysitting at my own home or bring my two lovely daughters along when appropriate—especially if your little ones would enjoy the extra company! I totally understand the importance of trust when it comes to childcare, so I'm all about working together to find what feels right for you and your family.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £13.00 per hour

My babysitting rates start from £13 per hour, reflecting my 10+ years of hands-on childcare experience, specialist training, and flexible availability.

Rates may vary depending on the number of children, time of day (e.g. late evenings), or any additional needs—but I’m always happy to discuss what works best for you and your family.
