About Me
Hi, my name is Johanne. I am a registered childminder in Crossgates, Leeds 15 area. I am also certified as an Advanced Childminder. I am married with two children and have 23 yrs experience in childcare. I have 2 pet dogs and myself and my husband are non-smokers. I run a playgroup once a week and do drive so I get the children out as much as I can from walks to the park to the shops and other play groups and local trips. I have a very safe garden for the children to play in and have a vast range of toys and learning equipment for them to play with. I am a lively person in myself and the children are never bored. Its not a quiet household.
I offer 2 year old funded places, 15 hours and also 3/4 year funded places either 15 or 30 hours.
My Experience
I have 23 years experience of childcare, ranging from a 3 month old child, to the under 3's then ranging to nursery and into school itself. I do have older children in the holidays, usually children that I have looked after pre-school.
I keep myself up to date with course work where I can and I hold and up to date First Aid Certificate. I keep updated on legislation and develoment relaevant to myself and the children and have had and OFSTED inspection in May 2022 (can be found on website) stating a Good. I am up to date with my household insurances, car insurances and public liability and also my childcare registration with Ofsted. I attend regular meetings at our local children centre, working well in partnership with other professionals.
I also hold a CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Children and the Young Peoples Workforce (December 2013).
The children have a variety of planned and unplanned activities in between playgroups and school runs.
