My Experience

I have over 20 years experience in childcare starting with babysitting and casual childminding work, then progressing into a nursery where I worked as base room manager for a chain nursery. I then spread my wings and worked for Northampton collage as an NVQ assessor, this job opened my eyes to the variety of childcare on offer in Northampton, this is when i decided to start up by own childcare business.

I adore my work and I am passionate about giving children the best possible start in life.
I am committed to offering a high quality childcare service and this is enhanced by my membership of the Northamptonshire Quality Assurance network.
I work within the Early Years Foundation Stage for younger children and I am also accredited to offer nursery education grants for 3 & 4 yr olds.
I hold a paediatric 1st aid certificate, public liability insurance and business use car insurance.
I provide a welcoming and friendly setting where care is tailored to suit the individual needs of the children, ensuring that they receive the attention and opportunity to develop in a loving and secure environment. The children are encouraged to reach their full potential through play and experiences.
Children will develop confidence and independence through a variety of activities such as cooking, music, role play, crafts and story time. Children's development is monitored to ensure activities are provided to allow them to progress to the next stage of learning at there own pace.
We enjoy a variety of outings eg. the park, library, indoor play areas, local toddler groups and Farm visits.
I am constantly updating my knowledge and practice to ensure the best standard of care is delivered.

I have an NVQ 3 in early years care and education
A degree through the Open University on Early Years

Basic Food Hygiene - Gold Heartbeat Award for healthy food
ADHD training
Dyxpraxia training
Autisum training
Baby Sign Language
and many more evening and day courses

My Availability

I am open from 7am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday
I have part time and full time availability for children under 5 years of age and can take and collect children from Bugbrooke preschool and Bugbrooke Primary School.
I also offer school holiday cover.

My Fees

• Childminding from £4.50 per hour

I charge £4.50 per hour and additional costs for lunch and tea if you wish me to provide them for your child. Term time only children are charged half rate retainer during school holidays to keep their place.
