About Me
I am an Ofsted registered childminder recently assessed "Good" I've looked after children one way or another since I was 18 following a successful career path including nannying, nursery work and childminding.
I have four children of my own, 3 daughters (including twins) who have all left home and a son who's 25. I live with my husband who is retired.
We have a warm and friendly house and would welcome all children. As a childminder, I like to involve children in various activities and outings whether it be a trip to the local park, library or baking cakes. I also attend various toddler groups and have many other childminder friends of whom I meet up with regularly so our children mix and socialise together.
My Experience
I am NNEB qualified with over 30 years experience.
I worked as a nanny for 9 years before becoming a registered childminder when I had my twin girls. I moved to Fleet in 2003 and worked in a day nursery for 4 years returning to childminding in Sept 2007
My Qualifications
I have NNEB, completed EYFS, childminding, paediatric first aid, Safe Guarding, speech and language, food hygiene, SENCO training, Positive Approaches to Challenging Behaviour, managing Children's Behaviour, activities under three, Messy Play, Heuristic Play and Treasure Baskets, Index for Inclusion, Baby Signing courses.
My Availability
I have space for a full time, preschool child two days a week, Mondays and Tuesdays and one child after school on those days. I pick up from Tweseldown infants school and Crockham Junior school.
