About Me
I am NNEB qualified and seeking a long term position as a full time live in/out nanny or shared nanny.
My childcare experience began in 1985, and worked as a trainee nursery nurse then gained the NNEB Diploma after having my first child in 1992.
I have worked as a live/out nanny, support worker in a residential Children's home, a care officer in a respite unit for under 18 years, and a nursery nurse in a day nursery.
Previous employers describe me as a jovial, patient, warm and caring individual who applies a mature, loyal, trustworthy, reliable and adaptable approach to duties.
I am naturally passionate about working to support young people and find the experience rewarding.
In my spare time I enjoy baking, cycling, and love playing tennis with the younger family members, as well as keeping in shape when attending the gym.

I have recently been offering babysitting support to various families, and covered breaks for live-in carers, which included supporting a young celerbal palsy client through an agencies.
Jan 2011 - to current date. BABY SITTER/MOTHERS HELP - for family, friends and clients when off work. Organizing various activities. Meeting all round developmental needs. Preparing healthy nutritious meals and undertaking day and night routines.

Jan 2007 -Dec 2007 - LIVE OUT NANNY - Family in north London
Duties - Sole care of two boys that consisted of; school runs, planning and organizing activities, assist with homework, shopping, prepare meals, light cleaning, ironing, undertaking day and night routines.
2008 to 2010 - NIGHT SUPPORT OFFICER - Children's Home.
Duties - supporting young people towards independent living; and preparing meals, washing clothes, budgeting finances, attending education and training, domestic chores, shopping, and maintaining legal records.

Duties - Planning and organizing activities, recording progress reports, ensuring legal documents were up-dated, collecting fees, supervising students and junior staff members, preparing healthy meals and domestic duties.

Duties - Meeting the needs of profoundly disabled children from 2 -18 years. Up-dating legal reports. Preparing meals, assisting with feeding and domestic duties.

Duties -Planning and organizing activities, recording child development progress reports, up-dating relevant documents, preparing healthy meals, ordering and purchasing stock, cleaning and collecting fees.
In between gaps I have mainly worked in the health and social care sector with career breaks to raise my two sons. I obtained the D1 licence in 2002 after redundancy, which enables me to operate a mini bus.

First Aid Certificate expires in 2024
Ofsted regisration certificate - expired and willing to reapply when position becomes available.
Full UK license including D1.

My Availability
I am available to start a full time nanny position as soon as possible, after giving current employer required notice.
I would prefer to work Monday to Friday, but I'm happy to provide support on Saturday mornings with Sunday off to spend time with the grand children, unless really needed.
