Hello my name is Hayley Whitington, I am an Ofsted registered childminder, graded good by Ofsted in February 2023.
I live in Englefield Green with my husband Paul, our 12 year old daughter Ava, 10 year old son Jack and our dog Barney the Cavapoo.
We are a happy close family who offer a warm and welcoming environment.
We live in the heart of Englefield Green where we are walking distance from Windsor Great park. We also use our local village centre for weekly playgroups and we are in reach of other local amenities for example, Egham library.
I provide lots of fun activities within my settings, we also attend professional childminding groups, visits to the farm, soft play and trips to parks. I have a lovely open planned living space and a great size garden.
My Experience
From having my own two children it has given me the experience of dealing with a variety of children’s needs and the importance to individual attention.
I have 12 years experience with children, I have been registered with Ofsted since 2005 and previous to this I worked as a nanny.
I have newborn aged experience all the way to school age.
I aim to provide a home from home environment with a high-quality, safe, fun space supporting your child’s educational needs.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 diploma in childcare and early years. I also hold a paediatric first-aid qualification, I’ve completed the government chip course and safeguarding course with Surrey County council and I am in the process of completing my EYPDP (early years personal development program) I also hold a valid DBS and I am subscribed to the yearly update system.
I have also completed training for the following:
*Prevent duty and British Values
* A new approach to child poverty
* Ofsted framework and curriculum
* FMG
* Health and safety in early years
* Coronavirus risk assessment
I hold a full clean driving license with business/full comp insurance

I had to go back to work after 8 months after having my son and it was incredibly hard. Hayley put me at ease and constantly uploaded photos and videos for me so I didn’t miss a thing and I could see how content and happy he was. She has a way with children that is just so natural and really made it easier for me to go to work knowing my baby was being looked after so well. Zach now goes to her every now and again now that he will be going to nursery but he was literally part of her family and I couldn’t have asked for better. Her home is so lovely and welcoming all the toys and a lovely garden too. It’s a huge thing to trust someone fully with your child and Hayley made it very easy for me. Xxx
