Tracey welcomed me to her setting and gave me her paperwork to look through away from her setting while she settled a baby and got them to sleep, once the baby was asleep, I came in and she welcomed me and introduced me to the children. She said they may be a little shy as both could withdraw in different situations. The children were amazing with Tracey’s support. Tracey had a tuff tray set up and the children were given bowls full of different vegetables and a few fruits, the children were encouraged to chop the food, they talked about colours, sizes, they tasted the fruit and vegetables and Tracey said how the lemon was sour. She encouraged them to express their views, supporting their language development and encouraged them to try the different foods with lots of praise. She sang a chopping song with them and made the activity fun throughout. The children have struggled with sharing and turn taking and Tracey promoted this consistently, she is very aware of the children’s behaviours and works closely to enable them to develop the skills to integrate effectively. Tracey added water to the play encouraging the children to make vegetable soup. They had jugs and they poured, filled and shared the fruit. They then added dinosaurs to maintain focus. Tracey moved the children successful on to choosing a book each for story time, they all shared their books, did animal sounds and enjoyed a relaxing story before lunch time. The children sat well together, they ate well and enjoyed lunch time together. Throughout the visit Tracey’s main focus was the children in her care, she supported their development and learning and their behaviour effectively, working closely with families to encourage this, she is clearly very passionate about enabling experiences which enhance development, focusing on opportunities they may not get outside of her setting.

It has been such a lovely morning spending time with you Tracey and seeing the fantastic activities you have for the children to engage in. Your setting is a great environment for the children to play and learn. The continuous provision you provide works so well to ensure cultural capital is support within your setting. The outdoor provision is full of beautiful resources which engage the children and enable them to have the confidence to determine their own play. Children immerse themselves in the activities, you support their learning well and model best practice at all times. You talk to the children, encouraging language development, using strong vocabular and linking the words to the experiences they have, such as using the word sour as they try the lemon. You are adept at encouraging the children to try new things, extend their learning by adding water to their play. You know when to sit back and let the children lead their play while offering the support required to advance their learning. You support families well in changes required, settling new babies, working to give up the dummy to encourage speech and offering experiences not able to be achieved at home. Despite challenges the children behave so well, they have clear boundaries that you set and encourage and respond well to your consistent approach. Your conflict resolution is fantastic, children know your expectations and work hard to achieve this. The confidence within the children is testament to the experiences you are facilitating, watching them dance and sing to the music when you have explained how one child was so shy, they would sit on your knee rather than dance is fantastic to see. The children are all developing so well in your care and will continue to do so with the passion you have shown towards child development. My Experience
i've worked in childcare since i was 16 so over 35 years experience ,first in nursery then has a nanny before my children were born. I then became a childminder 19 years ago caring for children from birth to teen years as a minder and private nanny. I have full knowledge of the eyfs framework and practise this on a daily basis to ensure your little ones meet all their goals in life and are fully engaged through out the day. Early years education is very important to me and I’ve just been inspected and I was rated outstanding in early years education. I use an online learning tracker which allows us to work together at every single stage of the way. Babydays is the most advanced in its class. There’s no need to ask to view your child’s learning journal or next steps because it’s at your fingertips at the push of a button. You are notified when a new observation is added or next steps are added. You can even set targets yourself. Helping us work together to better meet all your child’s needs. activities are planned around the child's interests and around the early years goals your child’s not quite reached yet. I have designated playrooms and a very inviting garden to offer children a continuous provision where they can access all the toys on offer enabling inside and outside learning to truly learn from their play. I run a relaxed loving setting full of praise and positive reinforcement. Tracy culpan.

- Childminding from £4.00 per hour
£40 full day. Working hours 7.30-5.30. Half day 5hours am/pm session £30 Up to 7 hours £35 My fees include all outings snacks nappies and wipes.
Wrap around care mornings 7.30-9am to include a snack £7.50
After school 3pm-5.30pm to include a snack £10

My daughter goes to little learners and she absolutely loves it there. She looks forward to going every week comes home talking about Tracy all the time. I was nervous for my daughter to go anywhere but I am glad we picked little learners. Tracy puts amazing effort and time in with the children. They are always busy and having so much fun. Regular picture and videos. Amazing place for my daughter. My daughter loves going and loves Tracy.

Aww thank you. That’s so lovely of you. She’s been an absolute pleasure to look after and brightens my days.
Our 2year old joined little learners at the start of this year, he has been there for just over 3 months now and his development since joining here has been phenomenal. Tracy is amazing with all the children, everything they do includes EYFS themed play and she naturally helps the children with development. It's obvious from the start that she genuinely cares about all the children in her setting and we immediately felt comfortable with her. Alex loves her and settled so quickly, he now looks forward to his visits and every week he learns something new.
I would 100% recommend this lady to anybody looking for great care for their children, we are so happy we found her!

Our 13-months daughter is with Tracy from about 2months and she adores her from the beggining. I know she never gets bored there. She has lot of attractions like soft play, dancing lessons, crafts, etc. I am pleased because our LG have contact with the other children. We are Polish so she is also learning English language from early years. Tracy try to send me pictures and videos regularly, she also put them on Facebook(with my permission). My LG always come back home so excited and happy and that makes us happy too. We are sure that we found perfect care for our baby. I highly reccomended Tracy for everybody!

My son is nearly 14months has been with Tracy at Little Learners for the last few months since I went back to work. Initially I was really worried because he was a very clingy mummy’s boy who wasn’t confident around strangers or other children but what a difference a few months has made! He absolutely adores Tracy and gets giddy as we walk down her drive because he knows he’s going to see her.
Tracy completes a diary for me everyday so I know where he’s been, what mood he’s been in, what he has/hasn’t eaten and I regularly get photo updates during the day which brightens up my day at the office!
I feel it’s very much a home from home evnviroment for my son, I know he’s not just a number at Tracy’s like he would be at a nursery, she really takes the time to get to know every child and all their little quirks so she knows instantly if he’s not quite himself and will quite happily give him a cuddle if he needs it.
His confidence and development has come on leaps and bounds in the short time he’s been with Tracy and he’s now a very happy cheeky little boy who enjoys interacting with other adults and children.
Knowing he’s so happy with Tracy has made having to go back to work a lot easier. Huge thank you Tracy x

Our 2 children (2 yo and 5 yo) loved spending time with Tracy and couldn’t wait to see her every Monday. She had them for a year and was very good at ensuring they had a fun day and catered to our needs but also added learning to the play.
I’d highly recommend Tracy to anyone looking for childcare. Knowing our children was with Tracy left us feeling confident in her care when we had to be at work.

Tracy has been taking care of my son on a Tuesday for over a year now. Unfortunately this will soon come to an end because he will be starting school in September. He enjoys his time with Tracy enormously. She takes him to farms, day trips, shopping, music clubs, soft play areas, and all manner of out door activities. She has broadened the scope of his activities and he has benefited enormously from this.
From my point of view Tracy is always reliable, punctual and flexible.
We wish her luck with her future positions.

Thank you for leaving a review. I enjoyed my time so much with your sweet child. He will always have a special place in my heart. Quickest 18 months ever. Hope he's settling into school like.
Tracy has been with us since the new year and it couldn't have worked out better. The boys (age 9 and 5) adore her she is great with both of them. My little girl (8 months) is completely thriving and that is a lot thanks to Tracy. Tracy is brilliant with all three, I know when I go off to work they are undoubtedly in safe hands. All three of mine have very different needs and she takes it all in her stride. They are always out and about doing fun things. I would definitely recommend Tracy, we feel very lucky to have found her.

Tracey is amazing childminder. she babysits for my 2 children one which has disabilities and she is the best childminder I have come across. she is really great with the children,honest and very reliable.

Tracy has been absolutely amazing with my 15 month old.
He has never been happy around other people unless I'm there, but he took to tracy straight away and he really came out of his shell with her.
I believe she has given him a confidence to be around others, and helped him develop and learn songs, numbers and colours.
She always takes him out on interesting trips, and if they are in the house she plays with him and gives him 110% attention, love and care.
She has also filled a diary out every day of his day which has been a pleasure to read, and been a comfort to me to know what he's been doing, eating and his mood etc.
Not only is she loving and compassionate but also very professional and goes the extra mile to be the best nanny possible.
