My Summary
About Me
I'm a mother of four, daughter aged 16 and sons aged 11, 9 and 2.
I am very interested in the arts and encourage lots of creativity through drawing, painting, cutting and sticking, playdough and salt dough modelling, baking, cooking, dancing, dressing up, pretend play (acting).
I'm also a face painter (with permission from parents).
I am educated to degree level, with a BA in English from the University of Southampton. I have provided private tuition in English GCSE and worked in schools workshopping Drama and Theatre Studies to KS3, KS4 and A-level students.
I have boxes and boxes of games and puzzles, and hundreds of books; a basket full of dressing up, art supplies enough to satisfy the most creative of minds and all of these things are over a wide age range - I can find something to suit all.
We are a loving and friendly family, we also have 3 cats, an old english sheepdog, a chameleon and a Guinea pig; and a secure covered pond with frogs. Our garden is large and gets lots of birds and insect life which the kids love to explore.
I am currently resigned from childminding (OFSTED require this when you choose to shut for a long period of time)
