I am a very experienced and respected Registered Childminder in Finedon, my husband has now joined me providing registered quality childcare . I have worked as a Childcare provider/Educator for 36 years have 4 grown up children of our own. Moved to Finedon 29 years ago.
We both hold clean driving licences and have business use included on our car insurances. I drive a Ford S Max 7 seater, my husband drives a seat Alhambra with age appropriate isofix child seats all provided.
We have a small fish tank with tropical fish in, two friendly cats who have been brought up around the children within the setting, raised pond with a safety net around , and a spurthigh tortoise kept in an enclosed tortoise table in dining room, when weather allows outside in large enclosure bottom of garden.
Tuesday mornings we like to take the children to a tots play session, here there are lots of sensory trays to explore with different textures.
Every other Monday we Attend a music and rhyme session with the children, lots of social interaction between children and adults, incorporating dressing up too.
Thursday mornings Wellingborough library under 5’s session.
At home we like to do messy play e.g. painting, play dough, sticking. Water play, time in the garden. Singing using hand and finger puppets, cooking and exploring the vast amount of toys we have.
We follow the Early Years Foundation stage using all 7 areas of learning, helping each child to achieve their development in the best way possible, treating all children as individuals.
We utilise baby's days software package to store the children’s details, achievements and goals, this system is only accessible to parents with passwords, myself and my husband this makes it a confidential document, and a great two way communication platform between my setting and parents of children whom we care for. which we update regularly at least 3 times a week, parents can view their child's/children development 24/7 a week.
We live just off the main A6, all main routes are easily accessible from my house,

Tracy has looked after our daughter (8yrs) and son (5yrs) since they were 10 months old. She has always provided a safe, caring and stimulating setting for them both. Tracy ensures their needs are fully met.
The activities they do are not only fun but educational allowing our children to develop and learn new skills. Her careful planning of different activities each week gives them a variety of experiences. Tracy works closely with us as parents which is great, she gives us daily updates and feedback. I really enjoyed going through the pictures with my children and them telling me what they have been up to that day.
I wasn’t sure whether to use a childminder or a nursery and had visited both settings. I can still remember the first time my daughter and I met Tracy, she was so welcoming and spoke to Maisie and made sure she was settled with toys before we talked about the “grown-up” stuff. As soon as I left the setting, I knew this was the type of care I wanted for my daughter.
My daughter and son are now at school but still come to Tracy's during the school holidays.Tracy has been a significant part of my children’s childhood and we are very grateful to have met her, and continue to have such a wonderful childminder.

Thank you for a lovely review, I have and do enjoy helping your children to develop, it’s lovely to have had them from babies seeing them go to school and to now looking after them in school holidays. It’s really great listening to them telling me all about school and activities you all do as a family.
Thank you again Claire
My son started to go to Tracy's when he was 18 months old and stayed with her until he started school. He loved it there and I could not have asked for more. They went on activities every day from farms, indoor play areas, country parks and was a regular at tots groups and the library, it was a rare occasion when they stayed in. He is now a very bright sociallable little boy who plays really well with other children. She mixes with other childminders on her outings on a regular basis so even if she has a different mix of ages there was always someone he could play with.
I felt I could completely trust Tracy and he was looked after very well and I knew he was safe and well cared for when he was there. She would also update me regularly and send me pictures of what he was up to during the day, it used to brighten my sometimes boring days at work!
She was flexible and able to adjust hours needed as my husband worked shifts, we have no family nearby and I felt like I could rely on her if we were ever late he would be well looked after.
She supported him through potty training and even though it was not smooth ride as he then started a dairy free diet she was brilliant at making sure he was not left out of treats etc if anything was given out at tots groups.
He was well prepared for school and she made sure he was ready for big school when the time came.
I would strongly recommend Tracy to anyone looking for a childminder for their child.

Thank you so much for this great review I really enjoyed nurturing and guiding him in all of his development, gained by the different ranges of activities that I provided.
When we was at home your son really enjoyed role play with his friends here, music time, painting and crafts, exploring my big garden with lots of outdoor cars and bikes etc.
I wish you all the best for the future and look forward to seeing you at school in September.
Tracey, is a brilliant childminder I was in her care from the 3 years old. She was the best childminder ever. There was never a dull moment. All of our days were filled with mini adventures. Tracey would help you build more of an education as well as a social development. Tracey now looks after my youngest sibling and he loves it. We always get photos and update throughout the day to see what he's up to. You couldn't find a better childminder :) x
