About Me
I am a calm and patient individual and I have a lot of time for the young people I work with.
In my spare time I enjoy the gym, boxing, reading, creative writing and other creative endeavours.
I offer virtual tuition and face to face. During the current situation, all tuition will be online.
My Experience
I have worked in education and childcare for 14 years, having started as a secondary school teaching assistant, moving to primary learning mentor and pay assistant, then moving to London to gain my teaching degree.
Since completing my training I have worked as a nanny and governess both here and overseas, babysitter, primary teacher, secondary teacher and private tutor.
I am experienced in 11+ tuition and children under my tutelage have gained places at St Paul’s Girls’ School, Haberdasher Aske, James Alleyn Girls’ School, North london collegiate and Godolphin and Latymer.
I have also assisted families with school applications for these schools and for prep schools from birth. Having worked with children of all ages I would be confident with 4+, 7+ and 8+ tuition also.
I currently tutor 11+, English, English as a second language, drama and all primary school subjects. I also tutor at Falcon’s Girl’s School and am a supply teacher at Putney High School.
I have experience working with children aged from 2 and a half and worked with a pre-school child on his English and numeracy skills through play and exploration of the world around him.
I have a full DBS and first aid training, the certificates for which I am happy to provide.
