Maria has been looking after our son for almost two years since he was 5 months old and has performed diligently throughout this time. She has taught us a great deal as parents on the care and safety of our son which we greatly appreciate.
Maria has many strengths achieved from the vast experience gained over her career, but for me her biggest strengths are her patience, her positive attitude and extremely caring nature treating our son like her own.
Maria fits in so well with our family and our son absolutely adores her… often calling out “Ria” first thing in the morning when he wakes up! Maria plans her time with our son extremely well taking him to different playgroups and activities for example trampolining, sing and sign, story time at the library etc. She has also taken the initiative to arrange regular playdates with other children so our son gets lots of exposure with children his own age. As a result he has learnt so many skills and made lots of friends.
Maria plans and prepares a nutritional breakfast, lunch and dinner for our son (who is a fussy eater) as well as taking care of other household chores which we do not expect her to do. She really does go the extra mile and is incredibly thoughtful making our lives easier.
In summary, Maria has more than the required qualities that make a successful nanny, she is very reliable, completely trustworthy and we feel very lucky that we have found her. She has truly become part of our family.

Maria is currently our Nanny, and looks after my baby full time as my husband and I both work.
Finding a genuinely loving and experienced Nanny was much harder than I thought, and I was so relieved when we found Maria, and saw her build an immediate bond with our son. Now Maria is very much part of the family, and our baby is as comforted by her as he is by mummy or daddy.
Maria also built a schedule of activities for our baby, so that he gets out and meets other babies everyday, whether it be at local playgroups, soft play centres or the library. This has really helped to grow his confidence and social skills, as well as his development.
Maria made the challenging time of returning to work, so manageable, as I felt confident that my baby was being loved and cared for at home by someone who is enthusiastic about childcare and who brings significant experience to our home.
Moving away is tougher than we thought, because it means leaving Maria behind, however we are more than happy to provide references or answer any questions that a parent may have.
