About Me
Hi I am Carrie I have been registered since 2006. I have 5 children of my own. I have a purpose built playroom just off my kitchen which leads straight into an enclosed garden. I offer a full range of activities for children including crafts, music, reading, digging, if its messy we do it !! We make use of local attractions on a daily basis we go to the park, toddler groups, soft play areas, to feed the local chickens on a weekly basis. We also like bigger trips away to the farm, picnics, gibside, discovery museum etc.
My Experience
I have many years experience of caring for children from birth upwards. I have experience of working with children and parents with food allergies and asthma..
I have worked with children with physical and developmental delays. I have experience working with outside agencies such as Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists.
My Qualifications
I have various qualifications including
NVQ level four in Childhood studies
NVQ level four in Children Play and Playwork
First Aid
Speech and Language
Level Two Speakeasy
Facilitator in the Speakeasy training programme
Handling childrens behaviour
Safeguarding
Sen and Inclusion awareness
Tiny Talk accredited childminder
My training is ongoing as my personal development is valuable to both myself, my work, the children i work with and their parents
I currently drop off and pick up at Ebchester Ce Primary school.
My Availability
I have full and part time vacancies
I am available Monday to Friday
7am till 6pm
I am flexible to accomodate shift work
I offer funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
I am available term time only or school holidays only
