About Me
Hi, I’m Sarah and I’ve been an Ofsted registered childminder for 16 years. I live in Gilstead, Bingley and have three daughters aged 21, 19 & 18 years.
I am a reliable, confident and caring person who offers a friendly and welcoming environment for children of all ages.
The services I provide are before and after school care for children that attend The Villages Pre-School & Eldwick Primary School, term time only. The children that attend my setting will be involved in many activities such as baking, painting, outdoor play activities and much much more!
Currently I am looking after a wide age range of children, all of whom are happy, friendly and full of energy. Their ages range from 3-12 years.
My Experience
I am originally from a Banking background but after the birth of my second daughter I started to look at working with children, thus have a period of 3 months helping out at a local nursery voluntary. After the birth of my third daughter I thought I would look into childminding as this would enable me to spend time with my children but also enable me to work with others.
I hold a level 3 NVQ in childcare alongside a paediatric first aid certificate, covid awareness training, training in children with additional needs, safeguarding and prevent training.
I am a member of the National Childminding Assoc (PACEY)) and regularly kept up to date with changes to the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS).
