About Me
I am a popular and recommended Ofsted registered childminder with 21 years experience. I have teamed up with a newly registered childminder to provide the full spectrum of excellent care to the children in our charge. I am NVQ level 3 qualified (specialised in children’s care, learning and development).
I have recently completed a CACHE course for children’s mental health. Also some recent courses relating to Autism.
We also have registered assistants, to help care for the children and bringing in fresh ideas.
I live in Carshalton with my husband and two sons. C B Childcare is based at my home, which means that we are able to offer a warm, home from home environment. We do lots of activities with plenty to keep the children busy including trips to local parks, playgroups and soft play centres. The children enjoy plenty of opportunities to do crafts and explore learning through play. We update parents daily via online diaries and photos (available via an app!) and learning journeys so you don’t miss out on the fun!
We currently have spaces for before and after school care for school children attending All Saints school, Carshalton. Starting at 8am, dropping to school each day and some after school places finishing by 6pm.
We have a space on Fridays to start immediately and also from January 2025 we will have a full time space. We are also taking enquiries for September 2025 start
Myself and my team are also available for some evening & weekend babysitting.
My Experience
I have been babysitting various aged children for over 35 years. I have been a registered childminder since 2003 and am a proud Mum to my first son born May 09 and my second son born Feb 17. I have looked after children of all ages, this includes new born up to 12 years old. I have good experience of caring for twins too, both childminding and babysitting. Also have experience of looking after children with additional needs, including ADHD and Autism. I have references which can be seen as well as parents who would be happy to be contacted.
My Qualifications
CACHE level 3 in childrens care. CACHE level 3 in children’s mental health (Dec 2020) Understanding Autism in 2021. NVQ level 3 in Children's Care & Development passed in July 2010. I have a current first aid certificate and this is renewed every three years. Have completed a foundation Makaton course as well as recently completing stage one and two of Signalong which I have used whilst caring or a child with additional needs. I have also refreshed my knowledge of Sing and sign for little ones with my youngest son (2020) As well as many, many more ongoing courses!
My Availability
November update, just found out that a child will not longer require a full time space from January 2025 so will have a full time space from then
I don't charge retainer fees for term time only children, as long as 2 months notice have been given of time off
We currently work from 8am until 6pm Mondays to Fridays.
I am also able to offer a babysitting service, where I come to your home in the evenings or weekends and look after your child(ren) in your home..

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.75 per hour
- Babysitting from £11.00 per hour
Childminding from £6.75 per child per hour, plus food
Babysitting is £11 per hour. No extra for siblings or late hours whilst babysitting.
As a childminder, I only charge for the time that your child is with me. If you are on holiday and give me two months notice, I will not charge you. This could be a big saving for you as well as some quieter days for me to concentrate on the children who are in my care.
