Everyone knows me as Marylou
I provide a Friendly and stimulating non smoking, home from home environment that is safe, welcoming and fun for all ages.
I have various toys and activities for all ages and a fully enclosed, secure garden.
I have a very friendly Cavapoo which children adore him.
We enjoy spending lots of time outdoors and exploring a variety of places including parks & woods, zoo, horse world, ball pits, playgroups, we regularly attend the library for story time/ryhme time.
I have many letters and cards from previous families, thanking me for the care I have shown to both the children and their families. These are available to view also references you can see or phone some of the parents.
My Experience
I've been a registered childminder for 27 years and have 4 children of my own, two of which are now grown up and are off exploring the world. I have cared for children aged from newborn and am still in contact with many of the families that i have built relationships with over the years.
My Qualifications
I am First Aid qualified, and update this every 3 years. in addition to this I attend many relevant child care training courses.
My Availability
Monday - Friday 7am - 7pm
will try to accommodate shift patterns.
Full Time & Part Time places offered
I am able to care for children during the school holidays (subject to availability)

My boys absolutely loved being with Marylou. They went with excitement every morning, and back home calm and full of positive emotions.
Marylou treats kids like her own, protects them and helps them feel safe and comfortable.
I could see my kids always felt reassured and loved.
Marylou’s family are all amazing and had great interactions with kids.
My boys particularly enjoyed the daily outings, playgroups, park visits and various activities.

Marylou looked after my daughter when she was 1.5 years old. I was in my last year of PhD and needed someone for the childcare. After giving me a tour she was able to offer us 2 days a week. I know my daughter will not have been easy that first day she went. Marylou goes above and beyond and constantly posted photos up so I can see how my daughter is doing. After a couple days at hers, my daughter would run towards her with open arms as soon as i dropped her off in the morning. At that point, I knew that we found the perfect childminder for our daughter. Also, unlike nursery, Marylou does lots of outing, and my daughter loves it! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone who needs support with childcare.

Mary Lou is our hero. She was like a second mother to my son. Always a positive influence, a good friend and a helping hand when needed. All the induction process was a success because her experience is something you can see from the first minute you talk to her. My boy started potty training at 2 years and 6 months and she helped a lot with not a single accident. As I was saying, supportive, respectful, calm. I appreciated the good care she gave to my child. Always clean, always smarter and happy. Also, children had weekly playgroups, walks, handcrafting and different activities. Don’t think twice in case you are looking for a professional, competitive childminder. Here she is!
