Maria was great via message and very friendly. We have a 16 month old and Maria was our first experience with a babysitter who is not family. Reading the reviews below, it sounds like she is amazing if you have older children, or are used to using babysitters, however, as nervous first-timers we found Maria a bit dismissive of our concerns and felt uncomfortable that we weren’t able to meet or speak her prior to a paid childcare session. She did say that she has a different approach in her childminder work, and that babysitting is more of a casual job, and my partner and I are definitely at the more cautious end of the spectrum.
