About Me
I have varied interests ranging from listening to the latest music, to meeting with friends. I am involved in the youth work within my church helping to lead at various events. For the last t summers I have worked (unpaid) at a Soul Survivor Christian Camp for two weeks as a member of the sports team. This involved assisting with, and on occasion leading, the sports workshops for the children.
Every Saturday I run a children's football team at the local little league, this is something that I love doing. I also help at the club with all of the admin and paper work, i help to sort out the canteen and the weekly running of the club.
I have played football most of my life. I also do rock climbing on a weekly basics which I really enjoy and it is very good discipline and kept me fit and healthy.
I have experience working with children in various environments. As well as coming from a large family (I have seven siblings) I have regularly volunteered at my previous Middle school, Wimbledon Chase (now a Primary School). I have helped in the nursery and the key stage 2 classes.
Fortunately I have had the opportunity of working first hand with children with SEN, my siblings, one whom has epilepsy, low muscle tone and global developmental delay including speech and language difficulties and the other who is hyper-mobile with mobility problems and an undiagnosed chromosome disorder, has not only equipped me with an understanding of the special needs that arise in such conditions, but has given me a foundational understanding of how to operate amongst children with such conditions.
My Experience
Looked after twins since they where 6m the are 5, also their older siblings who are now 11 and 17.
I also have my own child who is nearly 3years old!
