About Me
I am an experienced childminder and mum of 3 and live in Burbage with my children and my husband Dave. I provide structured, educational childcare in a fun and caring, family environment. Indoors my childcare activities centre around our dedicated playroom in which we have a large variety of toys to suit a large range of ages and stages of development. Outdoor activites take place in our garden which is a good size and again contains a good range of toys and activities. We are also fortunate enough to live very close to some lovely parks , and well maintained areas of common land which the children are able to play and explore on. I always advise bringing a pair of wellies so that we can get out whatever the weather!
My Experience
I first registered as a childminder in April 2009 and have cared for a number of children between the ages of 18 months to 9 years. I have experience of caring for children who don't have English as a first language and also of caring for those with minor disabilities. My childcare provision has ranged from full time care through to school 'pick ups and drop offs'. Along side this professional experience, my husband and I have also raised our own 3 children.
