About Me
Hi my name is Tina, and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. My home is safe, happy and fun, where children can enjoy learning through play with a wide variety of toys inside, and outside enjoy a large enclosed garden, full of fun areas to explore, along with great outside toys.
We spend time at home but also enjoy local toddler groups, trips to the local parks, libraries and spend time with other Childminders. Trips out are organised too, dependent on the ages of the children in my care, to places like the Natural History Museum in Tring, soft play centres and the Aquadrome.
My Experience
I have 21 years experience with Pre-School children and 17 years experience with after school childminding.
My Qualifications
I have been a Registered Childminder since 2007. I update my Paediatric First Aid Certificate every three years last (completed Dec 2021) and my Safeguarding Children (last completed May 2022) and regularly attend relevant courses to update my knowledge.
Other courses I have attended are on Inclusion, Schemas, Making the most of Outdoors, Music and Movement workshop, the Introduction to New EYFS, Introduction to Mindfulness, Cultural Capital and Pedagogy and recently updated my Food and Hygiene course.
My last Ofsted inspection I received a Good.

I have been using Tina for 6 years now, since my eldest daughter was 9 months old and my younger 6 months. Tina is everything I would look for in a childminder. Not only is she extremely professional and takes her role very seriously, but she also provides my children with a fun, safe environment with lots of variation in the toys they play with, the crafts they do and the games they play. Tina's house is always spotlessly clean and I have the confidence, even when my daughters were just starting to crawl that they couldn't get into any danger.
My youngest, who is now 2 is a keen baker, and Tina has picked up on this,and spends a lot of time letting her decorate cakes and doing the things she loves doing. My eldest is a bit of an artist and she would come home from Tina's armed with an array of beautiful artwork, using all manner of different materials I wouldn't have at home. Tina herself has two very very well behaved older children (who are at school full time), they are also a credit to her as they are polite and very good with all the children in their home.
I would certainly recommend Tina.
