Hi, my name is Caroline and I run Brown Bears Childminding from my home in south Farnham.
I'm a caring, reliable and committed Ofsted registered childminder who is NVQ level 3 qualified. I live with my husband David and we have one son who is 12 years old, a daughter who is 9 years old and another daughter who is 7 years old.
I provide a safe, fun and stimulating environment ensuring the individual needs of every child are met. I understand as a parent how hard it is to leave your child so I take the time to ensure you are totally comfortable with me and that your child feels fully settled and happy in my home. I always strive follow each child's usual routine so they have consistency in their care.
We attend a number of local groups and activities and also regularly visit parks, go on walks and and play in the garden. I plan our days to ensure there are a wide range of fun activities which are always tailored to each child's stage of leaning and their individual needs. Activities include messy play such as painting, creating collages, printing, water and sand play. We also spend time doing lots of role play, reading, singing, cooking, construction and playing a wide variety of games.
All the meals I provide are home cooked to ensure they are healthy and nutritious. I create meal plans so that the children always have a balanced diet.
Working with parents is important so I always provide lots of information such as a daily diary and a learning journey which details the individual child's development. I operate an open door policy and always welcome parents into my home at anytime.

My Experience
I've been caring for children for over fourteen years and most recently I've been childminding for the last eleven years. I've previously worked as a nanny for two families and in a nursery. I have experience of working with newborns right up to older children plus children with special needs.
My Qualifications
I'm NNEB qualified which is a full time two year course and is equivalent to the current NVQ level 3. I also have current certificates for paediatric first aid and food hygiene.

Babysitting available. I collect from All Saints school and South Farnham Juniors only.

My daughter has been with Caroline for three years and we couldn't be more happy with the care she's provided. She is so caring and thoughtful, our daughter is always happy to go each day and she's very busy doing such fun activities. Caroline is very welcoming and approachable and has always been accommodating when we've needed extra days.

I can't recommend Caroline highly enough.
She has been caring for my children for over two years and we couldn't be happier with the care she offers.
The kids have loads of fun, often doing the messy or muddy things that I don't get round to at home but they love. They also enjoy the wonderful mix of toys for boys and girls of all ages. There is never a dull moment.
Caroline's vast experience of childcare shows through in the way she interacts with the kids adapting to their individual personalities, likes and dislikes and also enables her to ensure that the kids are safe as well as happy and loved.
It made my return to work much easier knowing that my children are in the amazing loving, fun and safe environment which Caroline provides.
