My references speak for themselves

* Happy to travel worldwide (Experience in UK, Spain, Italy, Portugal, France, Morocco, & UAE)

Are you having a baby? I would love to help you and your baby to have the best start.

My name is Cristina, I'm warm, kind and truly care about all “my babies”. I'm in love with my job and feel very lucky to help new parents to have the best start. I’m very positive person, feeling very happy and competent around babies and always trying to update on my free time to continue my training (there is always something new to learn)

Experience working with high profile families and fully staffed houses as a maternity nurse, nanny and school teacher for over 20years, having experience with new born twins & triplets.

I have a deep interest in the individual learning and personalities of children, as not all the children are the same. I believe in a good and gentle routine where daily situations, meal times, nap times, bath time, etc. are structured but always happy to adapt my practice to suit the parent’s beliefs and needs, as they are the most important part in a child's life.

My aim as a Maternity Nurse by the time I leave your home is that you as a new parents feel happy and confident enough to look after your baby without any help. Of course I’m always happy to discuss any worries you may have after I left.
I offer my services as a Maternity Nurse helping parents looking for a support in your home after the birth of your child/ren during the first few weeks, to ensure a pleasant journey for everyone involved.

My duties involve:

- Practical help with care of the baby/s (winding, nappy changing, bathing, dressing/undressing, settling to sleep)
- Information and support with infant feeding (whether breast, formula or mixed feeding)
- Assist you in stablishing a good and gentle routine adequate for you and your baby as not all the babies or families have the same needs.
- Setting up sleeping patterns and caring for the baby thought the night if you need, so you can get a good night sleep.
- Sterilizing and making up the bottles for your baby if you are bottle feeding or expressing milk.
- Teach you safety and hygiene around the baby.
- Proxy parenting if you need to travel during my booking.

European passport

Experience traveling/flying with babies (also by private jet and felling very comfortable working in formal environments)

*Fluent both English and Spanish.

My Experience

More than 20 years experience as a nanny, Maternity Nurse and a teacher.

I have New Born, twins and triplets experience.

I've worked abroad in Middle East and Europe, happy to travel.

I speak fluent english and spanish.

Happy to send references!

Cristina spent two weeks with our 3 week old baby. I couldn't recommend her enough, she was an absolute star. Our little boy loved spending time with Cristina and she was very easy to have around. She is extremely knowledgeable and taught us so many valuable tips. We couldn't have managed without her!

Cristina lived with us for four weeks as a round the clock maternity nurse, caring for me and our new born baby. She is a truely lovely and loving person and adapted to our family in a relaxed and easy way.
As well as being professional and highly experienced, Cristina is calm, confident and happy. She gently introduced much needed organisation and order into my daily routine. Although the baby is my third, I learnt so much from Cristina and gained a new level of confidence in managing his needs. I feel incredibly lucky to have found her and highly recommend her, although I'd really like to keep her myself forever!!

Cristina is really special. Her enthusiasm about childcare shine through immediately upon meeting, and she is such a cheerful, caring person. We initially intended to utilise her as a part-time nanny, but circumstances changed and this was no longer possible, so used her as babysitter occasionally- and will continue to do so.
I had no qualms about leaving my newborn with her whatsoever.

Cristina came over for a night to look after my 7 weeks baby, in order to allow me to catch some sleep...She was excellent in attending to my baby's needs. She was charming, funny and always in good mood, even though it was a though night for us all as my baby wasn't feeling well that night. She enjoys being around my baby and seem to put her heart into her work. I definitely recommend her as a nanny or a babysitter!!!

Cristina takes care of our two children (a 4 1/2yr old boy and 15mnth old girl) and has been doing so for the last 6mnths. We've never had a nanny before so felt very unsure going into it & Cristina is an absolute blessing. She is warm, kind and truly cares about our children. She is a positive person & very easy to be around and mostly importantly our children absolutely adore her. She nurtures them, plays with them and is always finding fun things to do. Cristina reads to our daughter endlessly and humors our son by going to every skate park in town. She takes them to the beach, libraries, picnics, play dates, she does loads. And has a great network of people so knows a lot of kids and kid things to do.

Cristina is also organized, tidy and communicative. She is a natural with children and very loving while still making sure they behave properly. We trust her completely and could not recommend her enough. We've even had other mothers comment to us how wonderful she is with the children. We feel very lucky to have Cristina as part of our family.

Christina was excellent. She responded promptly arrived early and was very kind. I had become so tired after looking after 2 children under 20months, and needed help getting my 15week old into a routine. She listened to what I had been doing so far, made gentle suggestions and introduced a routine of feeding and sleeping overnight. On the second night she arrived, after having been to the shops for me to buy some new feeding bottles (anti-colic), nasal spray (for congestion) and a humidifier for the room.
I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a short or long burst of support with helping babies get into a night routine and giving mummies a bit of a break.
Thanku!

Cristina is an outstanding nanny. She provides wonderful care for my triplets who have recently turned three years old.

At a time professionally where I have a super high workload and a tribe of toddlers, Cristina is a lifesaver. She handles them with kindness, care and is supportive. We find it easy to share with her our ways of managing them all and that is very important.

Cristina’s standards are high in terms of play, conversational abilities and keeping the house generally tidy, as we like it. She is a pleasure to be around and is rock solid trustworthy.

We can only say marvellous comments about Cristina.

If you are looking for a warm, bubbly and fun, utterly professional and one hundred percent trustworthy nanny who your children will adore, call Cristina.

My daughter fell in love with Cristina the moment she saw her, they were singing songs in Spanish and English together within moments of meeting each other.

Cristina is always smiling and amazingly calm (even through my daughter’s terrible terrible twos) and it’s genuine, she’s truly lovely. Your children will have heaps of fun and miss her when she’s gone (always a good sign).

It was my first time using childcare.com to find a nanny and I struck gold with Cristina. I was so nervous about leaving my precious daughter with someone I barely new, but my fears were short lived.

I can’t recommend Cristina highly enough; you’ll be lucky to have her and thank you Cristina for being so blooming brilliant.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like any further information about Cristina.

Cristina has worked for us as an Au Pair since her arrival in England in March 2011. She came to us with only a few words of English when our twin boys were 4 weeks old and our daughter 3 and a half. She has proven herself to be kind, cheerful, punctual, reliable, trustworthy, thoughtful, intuitive, knowledgeable, eager to learn, happy to take cristism and never in need to be asked twice.

Her duties for us have mostly been as mother’s help, between the hours of 7.30-9am and 4-7pm; but occasionally she is very happy and very skilled at taking care of all three. Her daily duties are:

Getting children dressed
Giving, overseeing and clearing breakfast
Helping getting all 3 children ready for school/childminding/day out, with outdoor clothes on, change of clothing, water/snacks/nappies etc
Tidying kitchen, washing bottles, emptying the dishwasher, sorting out the recycling, putting out the bins.
Taking the children to the park, usually only the younger two.
Assisting with children’s supper, and clear up.
Playing games
Doing all aspects of bath and bedtime routine with the twins. Including administering medication, cutting nails, folding and putting away clean washing, teaching the boys to brush teeth, to put away their clothes in the wash basket, tidying up their toys.

In the summer of 2011, I was in emergency solitary confinement in hospital for 2 weeks and Cristina was incredible, she took over all of my roles as mother/primary carer (12 hours per day, 5 days per week), she had the occasional help of my husband or mother-in-law, but basically she was in charge of all three children, especially the care of my 3 month old twins; and she did so brilliantly. She was faultless, and I am eternally grateful to her for this.

During this time, and more recently, she has managed the transfer of the Primary care role to the childminder or a family member in a very clear and thorough way.

She really has become one of the family and this is thanks to her ability to relate to all of us, parents, grandparents and children. Being naturally positive and intuitive means that she is a joy to have around. And this was evident from the start, even when her English was very limited.

My 3 year old daughter had a lot to deal with when Cristina started, she had a new house, new brothers, 3rd new nursery in a year and an Au Pair, (& mother getting ill), yet Cristina was a great help in managing this turbulent time for her.

She has shown to be calm in a crisis; there have been several occasions over the past 2 years with just general nasty childhood illnesses, but she has always acted fast and professionally with regards to the children’s health. She is clear and follows instructions without fail.

When she works for us she is fully involved, and I have absolutely no concerns with her dedication and ability: I feel completely at ease with leaving her in sole charge, whether in or out of the house. She is always willing to care for the children 100%; whether it’s caring for them when they are sick, doing household duties or thinking about engaging them physically, creatively and emotionally.

Cristina is great with taking photos and short videos for us to share with our wider family, something that is much enjoyed, but that I rarely seem to get around to doing myself: so I am grateful to her that she does this for us.

She has also been great in teaching the children Spanish songs etc occasionally using her phone or computer to assist her. She is also great with teaching games, reading, eating, tidying up etc all in a fun and perfectly age appropriate way. She is always keen to play and amuse the children, but she also is brilliant at keeping order in a calm and kind way.

It has been of great benefit to me to have Cristina with all her theoretical and practical knowledge with children and babies; whether it is difficulties as the boys enter the “terrible twos” or with my daughter as she started school. She has come up with interesting information, as well as creative ways to solve the problems.

Her ability to work unsupervised, her management and communication skills, dedication to work, time keeping and reliability are all excellent. And her new skill - to cook! Which she has self taught from scratch, has been a joy to watch and is a great asset to her skill set.

She has been very easy to live with, she is a great ally and friend, but she has managed to keep the professional line. She is wonderfully cheerful and proactive; which in the early dark days of new borns was wonderful. She is very respectful about family time and quiet in her comings and goings, and her own social life.

I have no qualms about recommending her, she has been an absolute joy, we have been extremely fortunate to have had her in our lives and I don’t know what we will do without her!

We wish her all the best in the future! Please do contact me if you require any further information regarding Cristina.
