About Me

I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder during the week (8am-5pm) and babysitter on evenings and weekend. I live in a new build house with a nice size garden which looks out onto a nice view. I have a wide range of toys and resources for children of varied ages and abilities. I plan for, observe and asses children following the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS). I follow the children's individual interest in order to plan for them and support them to reach their full potential. I have completed the required childminding course and also have level 2 & 3 in childcare and a BA Hons Degree in Early Years (level 6) along with many other qualifications such as safeguarding. I feel having these high level qualifications has given me an in depth knowledge and understanding of children's development and has educated me on the most effective way to do everything when working with children. All planning is thorough and follows the needs and interests of all children, observations are all in depth with next steps which follow the EYFS and assessments are often carried out to ensure all children each their full potential
My Experience
I have a lot of experience in working with young children. I worked part time in a nursery for 3 years where I took on all roles working with all ages children. I volunteer at two youth groups a week for children ages between 4 & 13, I have been on placements in a range of schools, childminders and nurseries and have worked on a part time basics in a nursery. I have also babysat for three families one who has one boy who is now 10, and two families who have two young children.
In my childminding career I have cared for many children including children who have English as an additional language (EAL) and children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). This includes; cerebral palsy, autism, epilepsy, chronic lung disease, speech and language delay and visual impairments. I am also very willing to undertake necessary training to meet the needs of individual children as much as possible.
My husband who I live with is a registered with OFSTED as a childminding assistant, has a full DBS Certificate, a food hygiene certificate and a short first aid certificate.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Childminding from £4.50 per hour
£4.50 per hour - including all snacks, meals, drinks, outings, transport, crafts and everything else. Just bring nappies (and milk if necessary)

Hannah has been childminder to my 17 month old son since he was around 4-5 months old. He absolutely adores her. She is extremely good at her job.
Her house is always clean, extremely child friendly and has a large extension dedicated to every toy you could think of!
She does classes, crafts, outdoor activities, sensory play and more with the children. All the children she has are well mannered and have taken my son under their wings and helped him come out of his shell.
Couldn’t recommend any further. Hannah is a star!
