About Me

I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for over 13 years now and managed to retain my grade of 'OUTSTANDING' at my last inspection ( February 2020). From September 2023, I will have a space available for 3 days a week - Monday to Wednesday (term time only).

I am an experienced mum, living in a non-smoking household. I am happily married to Steve and we have two lovely boys, 17 & 19 years old.

I only drop off/pick up from Stillness School so school runs are very short as I only live a couple of minutes walk away from the school.

I lead a child centered approach and offer a warm, safe and family friendly environment where we do many fun packed activities at home, as well as visiting playgroups, libraries and local parks. We also make occasional trips to farms and museums etc. My aim is, that through play, the children will feel happy, comfortable and secure enabling them to fulfill their potential.

I live in between Honor Oak Park/Crofton Park train stations, in a detached house with a good sized garden which is well equip for plenty of outdoor play. I also have a wide variety of toys and resources to suit all age groups.

I look after children of various ages, so your child will be mixing with different age groups. Many of the older children that come to me after school have all been with me since they were babies/pre-school themselves and all adore the little ones. I'm really proud of the family friendly environment that we have achieved.

We do have a friendly dog called Bella (who is an Australian miniature Labradoodle). Bella is 5 years old, has a great temperament and is a lovely addition to my setting, as the kids love her. She is hypoallergenic and none shedding.

I have a full clean driver’s license.

I work 3 days a week (Monday to Wednesday) TERM-TIME ONLY.
