About Me
Hi, my name is Tammy...
I am a registered childminder and have been since 2004. I live with my two children in Alvaston, Derby. The whole ground floor of my house is used for childminding, and I have a fully enclosed garden for outside play. I also have a separate sleeping area for children who require a sleep during the day.
I can provide 15 hours free nursery education for children 2, 3 and 4 year olds
Working families are now able to have free childcare if they are earning less than £16190.00 and receiving working tax credits, this is for the two year old funding 15 hours per week. If you want more information contact me i can check if you are entitled to the funding or contact Derby cIty Council.
My Experience
I am a qualified Nursery Nurse and have worked in several nurseries and schools in Derby . I have achieved NCMA Quality First Level 3. In December 2008 I was graded Outstanding, i was the first childminder in the city to receive this grade under the Early Years Foundation Stage. I care for children with additional needs and have experience of working with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and communication difficulties. I have attended several training courses including Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator, Disability awareness with Umbrella. I also have a degree in Early Years.
My Qualifications
NVQ 2 and 3 Childcare
Certificate in early years practice (Open University) Level 4 qualification
Foundation Degree Early Years
I attend regular training courses to up date my knowledge and skills
My Availability
I care for children from 6 months - 10 years
I have places available Monday to Friday
I also care for children before and after school

Before I can secure a place for your child you will need to pay a deposit of £100.00, this will be taken off your first childcare payment.

My Fees
I charge £30 per day for a child under 5 years
After school I charge £11.00 per night
During school holidays I charge 15 pounds for the first 5 hours and then 3.00 pounds per hour after
Full fee applies if the child is off for any reason ( this is including children who only attends during school holidays).
There is no fee if i am off
Payments are required one month in advance. Children who only attend school holidays are required to pay a week in advance.
