My Summary
About Me
please contact for a visit for more uptodate references as most of my parents come from word of mouth, and not through accessing this site, so don't show on here.
I am a childminder living in the Dewsbury Moor area half way between Heckmondwike and Dewsbury (behind the Dewsbury Moor Rugby Club) doing school drop off at St Paulinus Primary School. I provide a loving homely environment and do daily activities with the kids and attend activities in childminder group, so there is an even mix of one-to-one care with the benefit of mixing and developing social skills with other children in small groups.
My Experience
I have been registered as a childminder since 2008
I previously worked for a large law firm in Leeds for 10 years before moving into childcare.
For each child I look after I keep a child record book charting their achievements and plan for new experiences. These are readily available for parents to take home and add to, for example, when they go on holiday etc so it depicts a fuller picture of your childs development.
My Qualifications
I am the Lead Childminder for Dewsbury area and am associated with the SureStart Centre for this area
My Ofsted rating is "Good" (last inspection November 2023) a copy is available on the Ofsted website
I have completed my NVQ3 in Childcare Learning and Development
