I would not recommend this childminder

My 3 year old son started with this childminder and everyday when I asked him what he had for lunch he always said bananas and crisps. There was also an incident when my son told me she had told him off because he got out of his chair to get away from a fly. I did question the childminder (I did not accuse or complain, I simply asked if this was true) the child minder rang me to explain herself and we cleared the air. My son was supposed to attend the following morning but then out of the blue she text me on a Sunday afternoon saying my son was no longer allowed to go with immediate affect. I think this childminder is very unprofessional in the way she has acted as I should be within my rights to express any concerns regarding my son. She has left me stuck for work as she knows I'm self employed. I would not recommend this childminder to anyone

Thank you for your review. As I explained there were a few issues and I feel it would be unprofessional to discuss, but as you mentioned the fly and food I feel it appropriate to mention you had omitted to tell me your son had a phobia about flies, although didnt present any distress and that I do offer a variety of foods for lunch as discussed with yourself and demonstrate in my healthy eating policy. In spite of finding several issues with the care I provided for your child you was still happy to bring your child back on a request to reinstate your contract, and confirmed he had had a happy time with me. My reasons for terminating care was I felt that the other issues that I ave chosen not to discuss would compromise my setting and sadly it appears I was right.
