A setting that offers home away from home

We had both our children with Katie and she is the warmest, most caring person who offers a safe and stimulating environment for the children in her care. There were always lots of activities prepared and the days are well structured. Our daughter was with Katie from 11months old until 3 1/2 years old and she loved going to Katie’s every single day. She developed beautifully under her care and has had great preparation for school nursery. Katie ensures that the children have fresh air, exercise and stimulating activities tailored to their interest. She took great care in getting to know our children and was always transparent in communication and sent us several daily updates and photos. It felt like she was part of our family and it was so reassuring to know that our children were in safe hands. We miss her a lot already and she would always be our number one choice for childcare!

Fantastic care for our little son

Our son started going to Katie’s since he was 18th months old, he’s always enjoyed spending time outside in the garden, playing with different toys such as figurines and also Montessori blocks, shapes and other, going for walks and attending play group, he’d always go in with a smile and lots of enthusiasm. Katie always prepares various interesting activities and sensory boards and etc, our son had learnt all the baby songs! We are so grateful to Katie, she’s been always caring, supportive and attentive to him. Katie encourages good manners and polite behaviour, our son’s learnt to kindly share his favourite toys! There’s always been a great communication. Katie is the best childminder there is, we are very thankful!

High standard childcare provider

Katarina has been childminding my daughter who is now 39 months old since May 2021. She looked after her 4 days a week.
I have been extremely happy with the care she has received and great progress she has made whilst in Katarina's care. Katarina's home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and has great fun playing with all the toys and resources available, and with the other children in her care. She provides a wide,fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor exercise.
Katarina is a great communicator and has no trouble in gaining her confidence and therefore encouraging good behaviour and kindness and compassion to other, both skills are important to us at home.
When my daughter is hurt or feeling under the weather, I knew she feels happy to be comforted by her and I am confident that she can administer either first aid or medication following all the correct procedures and completing the necessary records to ensure the health and safety.
All in all we are throughly happy with the level of care my daughter has received and I am certain that being in such a positive and happy environment is helping her develop into a confident and self assured little girl.

I would absolutely recommend Katarina as a great, reliable and trustworthy childminder.

An amazing child minder whom we will miss

Katie looked after my 1 year old (from the age of 8 months to 19 months) full time during the week and my 5 yr old on school holidays. Both children loved going to Katie's house and really enjoyed their time spent there. Katie provided a warm, homely environment for the children with lots of educational stimulation throughout the day. She also took the girls regularly to children's classes in the locality & on nature walks/ to the playground which they loved. My 1 year old's speech and fine motor skills came on leaps and bounds at Katies. She also had a lovely routine that included nap time & regular meal times etc. Her garden is safe and well set up with lots of fun play stations that included sand play and water trays which they loved, especially during warm weather. Katie is an exceptional child minder that created a very lovely warm environment for the children. Both girls adore her, as we do too. We unfortunately had to leave London for work reasons, but we would be sending the girls there indefinitely if we were staying in the area. I can not recommend her highly enough.

It will take a lot to replace her...

Katarina has looked after our daughter from 9 month old until 2 years old. I felt instantly comfortable leaving my young baby with her, our daughter settled very quickly with her too. And I can't thank her enough for everything she has provided for her, we have seen her grow and develop so fast. Her setting has many toys and activities and is very safe. They have something exciting to play with and learn from everyday, Katarina is also very creative around setting her own activities every week and our daughter would be so excited to go every morning. Katarina has such a big heart and genuinely care about children. We are so sad to lose her as a childminder as we had to move out.. And I join the other comments in saying that she is the best childminder you could ask for! Thank you for everything Katarina!
