Hi, im sue, i have been a registered insured childminder for over 30 years, i have been married for 38 years and i have 2 grown up married children, that live independently in their own homes.
I Love my job very much and i thrive on helping children achieve their goals.
Our aim is to insure children grow confidently and independently, so they transition to school with confidence.

My Experience
I have had over 30 years of experience in childminding, i have seen a great deal of change through the years, I follow the early years foundation stage principle and i have been on many courses to compliment my knowledge, i have up to date paediatric first aid certificate and i have a good knowledge of Autism spectrum and experience of minding for a child with Autism. i also have experience with twins. I provide opportunities for children to learn about and value the lifestyles, cultures and beliefs of others. I ensure children have access to a wide range of planned activity's which promote equality of opportunity we celebrate festivals and events which reflect other cultures. I work alongside a co minder Bianca my Assistant's Emma and Izzy, who is full time, she has a level 2 in childcare, we all work very well together and make sure all children’s individual needs are met.
We track children's learning journey and we send parents photos using WhatsApp to show you how much fun your child is having with us.
I also have a part time assistant Emma.
PLEASE NOTE; We only do wrap around care from St. Peter’s school Stonnall
I am graded GOOD from ofsted .

Our daughter has been attending Sue's house for three years and continually we are grateful that we chose this setting. Sue and her team provide a safe, caring and nurturing environment for all of the children who attend here. It is evident that everyone thrives at Sue's house and that Sue teaches them good values, good behaviour and how to explore their own development.
Sue really ensures that there is a good continuity of service, even through the testing times of the lockdown. She picks fantastic people to work within the setting, all of whom we enjoy getting to know.
We can't recommend Sue's house enough. She creates a wonderful community for your children to grow and develop in and get ready for their next step in life.
